Day Training & Habilitation Services

ProWorks is licensed by the MN Department of Human Services to provide day training & habilitation (DT&H) services to adults with developmental disabilities and related conditions; ProWorks provides DT&H services, including transportation, to persons residing within a 30 mile radius of Litchfield, MN; this area includes all of Meeker County, and the surrounding communities of - Cokato, Cold Spring, Hutchinson, Kimball, Paynesville, Richmond and Willmar.

ProWorks' services are accessed through the Meeker County Social Services Department; for information on eligibility or, if you currently reside outside of Meeker County, and require "host county concurrence," please contact Meeker County Social Services at 320 693-5300.

Consumer Satisfaction Summary - 2007

 

ProWorks' Mission Statement states that this agency provides adult day training & habilitation services based upon the premise that every person challenged by limitations of mind or body possesses an inherent capacity to achieve a level of vocational independence; ProWorks provides training and care which encourages each person to develop or maintain their abilities.

 

ProWorks' Board of Directors, administrative and program personnel are concerned about consumer satisfaction; information is gathered through informal discussion with consumers, family members, guardians and case managers; this information is used to modify our DT&H services.

 

ProWorks provided adult DT&H services to 69 people this past year; 39 satisfaction surveys (57%) were completed; 22 surveys (32%) were not returned, 8 individuals (12%) had not yet had an "annual review."..

The survey results are as follows:

 

1) Are you satisfied with the assistance of staff to identify and understand rights?

    39 respondents (100%) indicated that they were satisfied.

 

2) Do you feel that you are being treated with dignity and in a respectful manner?

    39 respondents (100%) indicated that they were satisfied; one person indicated dissatisfaction.

 

3) Are you satisfied with the choices provided for work and leisure?

    39 respondents (100%) indicated that they were satisfied.

 

4) Are you satisfied with the amount of community involvement?

    38 respondents (97%) indicated that they were satisfied; one individual (3%) stated that they were dissatisfied

 

5) Are you satisfied with your relationship with others while at ProWorks?

    38 respondents (97%) indicated that they were satisfied; one individual (3%) did not respond to this question.

 

6) Do you feel your personal needs are being met while at ProWorks?

    38 respondents (97%) indicated that they were satisfied; one individual (3%) did not respond to this question.

 

7) Are you satisfied with ProWorks program environment(s)?

    39 respondents (100%) indicated that they were satisfied.

 

8) Are you satisfied with the location of services by ProWorks?

    38 respondents (97%) indicated that they were satisfied; one individual (3%) did not respond to this question.

Additional Comments:  A parent stated that they were, "very satisfied;" another parent stated, "very accommodating, very appreciative;"

                                      a case manager stated, "great program, great people."
